MINUTES OF the CRIDEM 2020 JURY MEETING
On October 10, 2020, in the city of Porto, at the headquarters of Fundação Manuel António da Mota, Mercado do Bom Sucesso, where the competing works are gathered, the jury met since the competition, being composed of the following members:

- Josefina Bazenga, President of the General Assembly of APPACDM do Porto, on its behalf;
- António Nobre, sculptor, author of the CRIDEM trophies, at the invitation of APPACDM do Porto;
- José Emídio, painter, on behalf of Fundação Manuel António da Mota;
- Fernanda Freitas, journalist, on behalf of Fundação Montepio;
- Rui Mateus, Curator of CRIDEM.


The jury appreciated the works extensively, presented anonymously, awarding, as established in the Regulation of this competition, great prizes and prizes for artistic categories, as well as a set of honorable mentions, as well as a Special Prize of the Jury.
The aforementioned monetary prizes will be offered to the winning institutions, in the form of a donation, by the foundations supporting this competition, as established in the aforementioned regulation.

 

1st GRAND PRIZE (worth three thousand euros):
A MENINA CABREIRA, textiles & tapestry of Odete Mariana Morgada Matias and Dulce Maria Marques Pereira, presented by ASTA;
 

2nd GRAND PRIZE (worth two thousand euros):
TOTEM DAS TRÊS IRMÃS, sculpture by Edgar Moreira Carneiro, presented by CAID;
 

3rd GRAND PRIZE (worth one thousand euros):
O PORCO, painting (collective work), presented by SCM DE LISBOA – INSTITUTO CONDESSA DE RILVAS;
 

SPECIAL PRIZE OF THE JURY (worth one thousand euros):
FOR THE SET OF WORKS PRESENTED TO THE CONTEST BY APPACDM DE BRAGA – COMPLEXO VILA VERDE;
