Born in Mindelo – Vila do Conde, in 1978.
Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of University of Porto.
Integrated Researcher in the Tangible and Intangible Heritage research group at the Transdisciplinary Research Centre for Culture, Space and Memory.
His main research interests lie in the revision of Modernism in Portugal, with attention to conceptual theorisation and to lesser-known artists. Similarly, given the importance of how things are made visible, he is interested in contemporary artistic practices and their relationship with the spectator (through projection, identification, and repulsion) in a range of contexts.
